Lymphoedema Resources for Ausralasia

I have tried to update this page as best I could.  The Department of Health and Ageing for Australia has been completely reworking their website, so I will keep check as they change their information.  If you see any errors or know of information we should include, please email me direct.

Lymphedema is seldom the only condition an individual may have.  In fact, as we have seen through research, the lymph system is intricately tied to every other bodily system and many conditions and diseases.  We have included in this update a directory of community health services and medical foundations.

The healthcare system of New Zealand has undergone significant changes throughout the past several decades. From an essentially fully public system in the early 20th century, reforms have introduced market and health insurance elements primarily in the last three decades, creating a mixed public-private system for delivering healthcare.
