I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully had
knee replacements in the presence of leg lymphedema. I have had
lymphedema of the legs & pelvis for 20 years following a Wertheim
hysterecomy for cervical cancer, also radiation, and six years later
chemotherpy for a recurrence. I, of course, will pursue a conservative
approach if at all possible, knowing the many complications which could
occur with surgery.

Once again, many thanks, Pat, for your kind assistance. I'm overwhelmed by the support & knowledge shared on this website.
I know that there is also a type of collagen injection which is certainly
a more acceptable approach than TKR surgery.
