I'm a 35 year old female (so just scrape into this group). I find it hard to feel stylish and feminine as feel limited to what clothes I can wear whilst wearing compression garments.
I have leg lymphoedema and wear compression knee high stockings. I feel like I can only wear trousers.
What do others wear usually? What about shoes? I tend to wear flat boots as that tends to keep the swelling down but this is also limiting, particularly in the warmer months. It's kind of a catch 22 as the warmer months the swelling is worse so need to wear compression garments more but it's also quite hot and uncomfortable to wear them when it's warm.

Well, I can't help you there. I have only ugly shoes and boots. I saw a lady at a Treadle Sewing machine meeting recently who was wearing flip-flops with rhinestones. I told her that they were the trashiest shoes that I had ever seen. She thanked me. My closet if full of pants with loose legs. I will probably never wear a dress again. Now that I am older, time is precious. I don't have time to answer all the questions that I am ask when wearing a dress. " Yes, I have seen a doctor. No, I don't want to see your doctor." Once a woman told me that my shoes were ugly and that was when I could wear a D. Now I wear a size 7 in a 4E.
