For forwarding to the Legislative Assembly of Nova Scotia

To The Members of the Legislative Assembly of Nova Scotia:

Whereas the sufferers of the permanent and progressive medical condition
of Lymphedema are

not funded for the very necessary quality compression garments which are
a requirement for

their on-going management of their condition. Be it resolved that we
need coverage for compression garments.

We the undersigned petition the members of the Legislative Assembly of
Nova Scotia as follows:

We ask for help in getting coverage for lymphedema garments.

. Lymphedema is a progressive condition for which there is no cure.

Lymphedema can lead to very serious complications and disability.

One of the absolute requirements for a person living with lymphedema is
a quality compression garment.

Please help us breast cancer patients obtain the necessaries of life.
Please continue the healing for us .

Hi Carol,
I read your petition. In the last sentence you are requesting help for breast cancer lymphedema which is very important. Are you also requesting aid for people that suffer from lymphedema in other parts of their bodies such as their legs which is very common? Maybe I am missing something here. Good luck to you!
